Multi Color Merino Roving
I have really fallen in love with these multi color roving colors.
When felted together, you can get a blended color with lots of depth, or you can
get subtle lines of color. I am making a vest using the Baltic colorway
below and it is really coming together well. To show you how these
colorways felt, I am posting a photo of the Baltic felt in the Gallery. As
soon as I finish the vest, I will post it there as well.
The photos of the light colors on this page do not do those colors
justice. I will try to take more photos and replace them soon.
- The Sage colorway is more green than it appears. The lightness of
the photo is because it is so shiny that the flash is bouncing back from
it. In actuality, it is sage with very subtle shading.
- The Snapdragon colorway may be my best choice so far for the color of
sand. Although not exactly that color, it is just a bit on the pink
side for SC sand. It does have the depth that I have been looking for,
though, so I will give it a try for the time being.
- The Daffodil colorway reminds me of honey dijon salad dressing, or
perhaps a bit lighter.
