Wensleydale Curls and Locks
This is a really special fiber that I will offer as long as the stock allows. I have purchased a shearing of Wensleydale curls and are they beautiful. The curls are naturally white/off-white and I have just started to dye some of them, so new colors will be added soon.
The staple length (length of each individual fiber) in these curls are 6 inches or longer and the curls are well defined spirals. I have cleaned the vegetable matter from the curls, scoured it to remove the lanolin, and combed it and air dried it curl by curl to get the best curls possible. This is not Wensleydale roving, which does not have defined curls. The price is a bit high, but the availability of curls of this quality is very limited.
The above photo is of one curl. A package will contain approximately 10-12 curls of this size.
