| We carry a variety of roving suitable for felting. Most of our roving is sold both by individual color and as a sampler pack for more savings. We are the Exclusive On-line provider of Just Felt Like It products. These products have been chosen to meet the specific needs of needle felters and machine needle felters. We hope you enjoy our products.For needle felting, you can use either Merino or Colonial (Corridale) roving. I have tried both. Because I really like to be able to feel the softness of the felt and use it next to skin, I have chosen to carry Merino roving. While I may add some Colonial colors later, for now, I wanted to stay with the best product available.I have occasionally been asked how long an ounce of roving is. Although we sell our roving by weight, the length of our roving is approximately 60 inches per ounce. This will vary sometimes from color to color, but 60 inches is a good estimate for the length of one-ounce of roving.
